Weekly Dose of Healthy Recipes: Pasta Salad With Fish Bits, Eggs and Cottage Cheese

Creating healthy eating habits may be a challenge in the beginning, but once you get a hang of it it’s going to be effortless and you won’t have to make a conscious decision to do it.

This week, we’ve prepared a pasta salad with fish bits, eggs and cottage cheese, which is a healthy dish that can be consumed for either breakfast, lunch, dinner or as a snack.

This is one of our most versatile recipes that is sure to give you the amount of protein and healthy nutrients that you need while making you feel full at the same time. In terms of pasta, opt for buckwheat or another gluten-free option that doesn’t contain empty calories and bad carbs, but rather is rich in healthy nutrients and vitamins.

In your choice of fish you can go for tuna, salmon or trout as long as you buy it fresh, and possibly organic, from a farmer’s market and prepare it yourself. For this salad, boiled eggs and bits of cottage cheese add flavor and protein to make this meal balanced and healthy for the whole family. This amount of ingredients serves 1-2 people.


  • 1 bag of pasta
  • 1-2 fish fillets
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp of cottage cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Sea Salt
  • 1 lemon juice

Step By Step Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the bag.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 °F, season the fish fillet with sea salt, olive oil and lemon juice, and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the surface becomes golden brown.
  3. Boil the eggs, leave everything to cool, chop up the fish bits and mash the eggs and cheese.
  4. Stir all the ingredients in with pasta and serve cool.
