The trick to this recipe is actually the pan. In fact, you’ll need to do away with your typical brownie pan altogether because if you make a pan of brownies, there’s every chance you’ll be tempted to eat more than one.

Instead, use a single ramekin to make this recipe or multiple ramekins if you plan to serve these delectable treats to company.

You will need, one tablespoon of sugar, one tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, one tablespoon of flour, two tablespoons of unsweetened applesauce, a touch of salt and a touch of baking powder.

Upon mixing the ingredients, you can add them to the ramekin and bake in a 350-degree oven (about ten minutes, but test with a toothpick to make sure they’re done) or microwave for about a minute and fifteen seconds.

While sprinkling with powdered sugar is necessarily going to add a few calories, you can sprinkle sparingly without much harm. You can also add a dollop of Cool Whip or top with a strawberry.

Once you get the hang of these delicious ramekin brownies, you can add some healthy ingredients like raspberry flavor or a few peanuts.

The best part about this great dessert is that it is low in calories but utterly delicious. You won’t believe it has only one hundred little calories!
